The pain of infidelity is all too familiar to many of the couples I worked with. As we face the challenge of putting the pieces of their marriage back together, I realize that the seeds of the affair are planted long before it ever starts.

It’s usually the culmination of, what I call, the “little exits” that draw energy and attention away from the marriage. 

At first these exits can appear to be very innocent, but over time they have the power to erode that precious connection that holds the marriage together.
